Due to the size and capacity of the Symposium lecture hall, the event organizers ask you to register in advance in order to guarantee a seat and to be able to communicate with if needed. You can either make your registration by using the link below (preferable) or on the day of the event; however, if you choose the latter, we cannot guarantee space will still be available.

The 3rd Spiritist Symposium of Maryland is offering FREE admission to this great event. But We do invite you to contribute with an in-kind donation to benefit the New Immigrant Students & Families in Anne Arundel County, MD – The International Welcome Center from Anne Arundel County Public Schools is registering an average of 60 new students per week, all of them coming from outside of the United States. Most of these students are fleeing violence, hunger or unstable socio-political situations in their countries of origin. Let’s welcome them with the basics for a new beginning in school and life!

SPEAKERS
Adrian Alvarez is a fourth generation Spiritist, born and raised in El Paso, Texas. He currently serves as the Secretary of the the Allan Kardec Spiritist Society of Maryland, and is a public interest lawyer in Washington,DC..
Marcos Signorini is an attorney specialized in the Anticorruption and Regulatory space in the U.S. and abroad, having focused on global supply chain risk management and compliance due diligence controls over the past decade. He has studied Spiritism for several years, having been inspired by the work performed by Francisco Candido Xavier, which he witnessed while growing up in his native country of Brazil. He is a member of the Germantown Spiritist Society in Germantown, MD.
Yasco Aracava is a biomedical researcher in the field of Neuropharmacology at University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland. As a spiritist, she is a member of the Spiritist Society of Baltimore (SSB) where she has been involved in several activities, such as children and youth activities, outreach program, study group and giving lectures at the SSB and in the other spiritist centers of Maryland.
Lia Gouveia (Moderator) is an active member of the Spiritist Society of North Beach (SSNB) since its incorporation in 2009, and has been serving as Program Director, Communications Director, as well as Vice President of the Society. Professionally, Lia is a business analyst and holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
