REGISTRATION and ADMISSION
The 4th Spiritist Symposium of Maryland is OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. Admission is FREE. However, REGISTRATION is required! Due to the limited permitted capacity of the venue, the Event Organizers request advance online registration for all interested in attending.
When you register, you will be asked to provide your phone number and e-mail address as a means of contact for the Event Organizers.
In-presence, same-day registration may not guarantee a seat.
2023 SSMD Charitable DRIVE
We invite all participants to donate in-kind to the SSMD Charitable Drive to benefit Interfaith Works, a local charitable organization. Various items were selected to fulfill their Baby Program needs. These items can be found at Amazon SSMD Baby Registry. The SSMD Charitable Drive will end on October, 30th.
SPEAKERS
Cinthia Fabretti is the president of the Germantown Spiritist Society in Germantown, MD. In the past, she coordinated the Spiritism for Everyone Live Web meetings, an educational program of the United States Spiritist Federation. She continues to contribute to the U.S. Spiritist Movement as a speaker. She holds a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree, working with wildlife, small and exotic animals.
Leonardo Vieira is one of the founding member and worker of the Spiritist Society of Baltimore (SSB). He has conducted and assisted with study groups, mediumship meetings, and public talks. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in business administration and a Master’s degree in management, specializing in homeland security. Professionally, he works for a major financial institution as a banker.
Lia Gouveia is an active member of the Spiritist Society of North Beach (SSNB) since its incorporation in 2009, serving simultaneously as Program Director, Communications Director, and Vice President. Lia holds a Bachelor in Computer Sciences and is working as a Senior Enterprise Applications Manager in the food industry.
Sonia Doi (Moderator) is the president of the Allan Kardec Spiritist Society of Maryland (AKSS-MD), the U.S. Spiritist Medical Association (SMA-US), and the International Spiritist Medical Association (SMA-Int). She graduated in Medicine from the University of Sao Paulo, Brazil, specializing in endocrinology.
